Modeling Air Quality: Prediction, Mapping, Mitigation
Welcome to the Air Intelligence Research Lab (AIR Lab) at Texas A&M University! We study air quality modeling, air pollution exposure, machine learning, environmental health, and environmental policy. We develop chemical transport models and machine-learning-based models to quantify source contributions, map exposure, and inform decisions that reduce air pollution and improve public well-being. We also employ Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models to communicate air quality risks and source impacts to the public. Our mission is to develop evidence-based solutions to pursue clean air and protect human health.
